I know it's been awhile since I've written anything, but life has just been so hectic lately. I've been doing a lot of work around the house while Matt has been gone during the week, and by the time I get inside from working, jogging, feeding and watering the dogs, and sometimes yard work, the last thing I want to do is sit down and blog. Probably has something to do with the fact that I'm never really in a good mood after all that stuff. Side thought--is it EVER going to cool down here? I'm so ready for fall. It's 90 degrees today with a heat index hovering somewhere around 153 degrees (at least it feels that way)!
Anyways, the point of this blog is to let you all know that we got great news yesterday...BOTH of us passed the Kansas bar exam! WOO HOO! No more bar exams...EVER! So after I get sworn in on September 26th and after Matt gets sworn in probably while we are home over Christmas, we will both be licensed to practice law in Kansas. This is great news to me as I'm counting down the days to when I can move back home and be close to family and friends. Just thought I would share our good news.
