Miss Abigail made an early debut on May 9th. She wasn't due to arrive until the 19th, so I wasn't really prepared at all for her to come! I got home on Wednesday night and started having what I thought were contractions around 7:00 that night. I really didn't know what to expect since I was induced with Emma, but around 2 in the morning I knew they weren't a joke. I called my doctor around 8:30 that morning and her nurse never called me back so I called again around 11. The nurse told me to go to labor and delivery immediately, so of course I waited 45 minutes for Matt to get home so he could take me. :-) Worked out well because I hadn't even packed a bag yet. When we got to the hospital they admitted me and checked me. But then there was some mumbo jumbo about sending me home in an hour if I hadn't progressed any more. I told them that would be fine as long as they sent the anaesthesiologist with me! Needless to say, after an hour the contractions were getting WAY worse so they moved me up to labor and delivery around 3:30. They couldn't give me the epidural fast enough! Finally got that around 4:45 and Abigail came on out 3 hours later. It would have been closer to 7 but I was waiting on my doc to get back from one her kid's baseball games. In the end it all worked out and Abigail couldn't be a sweeter baby!

Ok, I'm a little behind on my blog reading!
First, that first pic of Matt handing Abby to Emma and they are looking at each other...oh my word, melts my heart! You can just feel the adoration oozing from each of them.
Second, those side by side comparisons remind me SO much of my boys! There are some photos that if it wasn't for the different houses, I wouldn't know who was who!!
Third, you got your haircut {well since last I saw you or a photo of you}!! Looks great...and I'm very envious. I want mine cut so bad but just have a huge fear of regret!
