Emma has been agitating to go to the ranch for a long time now and we finally made the trip. Matt went to a CLE in Wichita and Brooklyn had a volleyball game at home so we went up on Thursday to make it to that (I have no pics of Brook in action because of my chirren, but next time I will get pics). Just a note of bragging--Brooklyn is only in 6th grade and pretty darn good at volleyball! I mean we all know she'll be much better at basketball since volleyball is an inferior sport, but still she impressed me! (And I'm only kidding about volleyball-sort of-I just love basketball and hope she likes it too!)
Pre-dinner pudding? This is never acceptable except at Grandma's!
Always. Touching. Her. Face. Grrr.
Ethan came down on Saturday and Mom and I took Emma and Ethan and the dogs on a hike. It was a perfect day for a hike and Emma walked the whole way. It's so nice having Ethan around. 1) Emma wants to do exactly what he does because she thinks he's so darn cool and 2) Ethan is SO good with her. Much better than I was with my little cousins, especially the whiny ones. :-) He really is patient with her and puts up with a lot. Thanks Ethan!
I love an October sky
