So I had a blog in law school (mainly because it gave me something to do in class when spider solitaire became boring), and now that I again have time to spare during the day I thought I'd give it another shot. Since law school I have become an actual licensed attorney, moved to a small, backwards town in south Mississippi, bought a house, started working for an oil company, got another dog (Stella "The Remix")
... and I became Mrs. Simmons.
After we said the "I do's" we had a FABULOUS honeymoon to beautiful Bora Bora! It was the most amazing and beautiful place I've ever been and here's a picture of our hotel. We can't wait to go back (if we can ever afford it again!) and do it all over again.
All in all I've had a pretty busy year since I joined the "real world." As of now, I'm preparing for the Kansas bar exam and signing up for various sweepstakes in the hopes I'll win and be able to pay off my student loans. That's it for now, but check back soon because I'm sure I will have some interesting stories of travel woes after Matt and I fly to Kansas for my dear friend Suzanne-Suzannadanna's wedding....
