13 Months

Fancy Pants is 13 months old today! We don't have a lot of changes since she turned one (of course I'm referring to her refusal to walk) but here are some fun facts nonetheless:

• Weighs right at 24 pounds, I think. We've been keeping a second home at the doctor's office lately, but she's been weighing right at 24 pounds on each visit. Except her last but they kept her shoes and jacket on and we all know doctor's scales weigh 5 pounds heavy anyways. Right? Hello? 
• Loves, loves, LOVES chicken nuggets. She'd eat them for breakfast if I'd let her. 
• She also loves pancakes, cheese sticks (no Annalee, not the fried ones!), yogurt (her fave is the GoGurt in the squeeze tube), grapes (but has recently determined the skin on grapes is gross so she eats the innards and spits the skin back out--it's so awesome when she throws them on my freshly mopped kitchen floor), Cheerios, bananas, goldfish crackers, nutri-grain bars, and surprisingly green beans. Of course this child is so weird, what she likes changes overnight so tomorrow this could all be a lie. 
• Has walked. Has refused to walk since. 
• She loves to walk "with" someone--this means she has a death grip on your finger and hobbles like a peg-legged drunk. It's also why my back hurts. 
• Can say "mama," "dadda" and "buh-bye." She says "buh-bye" like David Spade from Bastard Airlines. Anyone remember that SNL skit? If not it's hilarious, and you should watch it.
• Her favorite activity is incubating virus germs she picks up from all the dirty kids at daycare, and then she likes to get sick at the worst times. This is why her nose has been running since she was 8 weeks old.

Those are prunes on her face. She actually ate baby food tonight.
