Just Another Day in the Park

I hosted club at my house last night so Matt took Fancy to the park to swing and play.  Imagine my surprise when I get the following text message:

"A black dude just got tased at the park and a Mexican is trying to fly a kite with no wind.  A white dude also told me he'd been tased twice and it doesn't hurt."

Right. I had no idea what to do with all that information so I just laughed. 1) at least Emma is getting to experience several different cultures and ethnicities and 2) have I mentioned how much I LOVE this town? I do believe the white dude was lying. Matt had to get tased when he went through training and he told me it was the worst pain he'd ever experienced in his life. I told him he needed to try squeezing a baby out of his nether-regions and then we could talk pain.

And then he comes home and points this out to me:

Don't mind the weeds, just notice the ginormous snake skin

Some guard dogs we have. This thing is obviously making his happy little home somewhere near our carport and the dogs are none the wiser. Stella will bark at a leaf falling, but just can't bring herself to bark a warning signal when she sees something slithering through her yard? Idiot. And yes, I'm sure this is a he snake and not a she snake because I refuse to accept the possibility that a momma snake is living near our carport thinking about raising a family in the near vicinity.
