It was an absolutely beautiful day today so Annalee and I took MaryCollis and Emma to the park to swing on our walk today. They both seemed to have a great time. MaryCollis was just chillin' like a villain in her swing and Emma would laugh whenever she got close to me standing in front of her...and then glare intermittently as well. (It wouldn't be a day spent with my child if there weren't some scowls involved.) And I must admit that this is the first time I've actually taken my child to a park to swing. Mother of the Year 2011 here we come! Here are some pics from our adventure.
She wasn't quite sure at first, but as you can see she warmed up to it rather quickly. And that heart on her face is from daycare. They took the kids to the museum in town for a spring kids' day thing. I don't get my child's face all painted up before we head out in public! MaryCollis enjoyed herself immediately!
